If you study the tail movements and actions in the movie on certain Na'vi, you can sort of interpret what emotion they are currently feeling. Just as you might say with a dog. I also found that fascinating and spent my 3rd viewing trying to decipher tail movements

I do that as well like all day, thinking if I had ears and tail like a Na'vi, what they would do, how they would move to everything I do throughout the day...

sorry for contributing to this thread as it appears to have set a few people off. I didn't see this as something unusual to talk about or even bring up. For the record the my favorite thing about Neytiri is her personality, smiles, and facial/ear expressions... not her body

You know, I take showers annually so I'm not appalled nor am I closed minded towards nudity and sexual attraction. I find it rather beautiful instead of a blinded and bland attraction. Being a man, seeing a woman naked, I find it incredibly.... interesting and soothing. It's welcoming and if her attitude isn't a hostile one, it's inviting. This is just a theory, but when we read body language, we only see so much of it with our pieces of clothing. Our moving hands, head, and posture tell a great deal to someone but seeing a chest or a curve (omitting obesity factors, which hide these features) can tell and even send a stronger message. I don't think anyone can blame a man or a woman from being really forward when they are both naked and in front of eachother, it's pure environment is exotic and loaded with passion as if it were magic.

Since I was in a seat and watching a film, the effect was lessened, but seeing Neytiri in her full, natural self makes me feel very relaxed and comfortable. If nipples were added, I think everyone wouldn't stop looking.

I am sorry that you think this is an inappropriate topic, It was never my intention to advocate a sense of hostility. I do not think anyone here has forgotten what Avatar truly means to them. We have all, no doubt, expressed our opinions and deep feelings on subjects concerning Avatar and how it changed us. I was curious and I felt like a little change thats all.

It was intended as a light-hearted question, perhaps even humourous. No, I do not, nor do many of us think the sole focus of this film are Na'vi bodies. I did point out that this thread contained mild mature themes. I cannot please everyone and I have the right, as part of this community, to share my opinions. So, I am sorry if you found this thread offensive or if you have mistaken this thread and looked at it the wrong way. I think however, you are taking this a little too seriously which defeats the point of this thread.
