Gosh i miss having a dog. Everything in ever facet of life is so much more beautiful! Though it seems annoying sometimes that they always need to be walked, once you're out there knowing you're making his day and are able to enjoy what else awaits... its just so pleasant.

Mmm and on summer days? KEY.

I prefer spring days like what we're having right now. Summer around here is very hot!

When I get depressed because of the blindness of humanity, I just think silently:

"Whatever happens, It's only the Earth we destroy, and it will recover.."

It's still sad, but clears out the hopeless feeling.

I have to diasagree with some of the stuff you mentioned dude... Simply because without technology there would be no avatar...There would be no space missions, we wouldn't have the internet, we wouldnt know each other.

That argument is flawed.

Without technology there would be no NEED for avatar, space, internet or each other - because we would live in a completely different society than today.

If we were to live in a tribal society like for example the nature tribes of south america... we would be in a completely different situation, we would be surrounded by people we know and can share our lives with...

...now I'm depressed again.

We are a tribe. It might not be entirely physical but were a tribe all the same. Now now don't get depressed Eltu! I would say the civilization was a tool of desperation and ultimate saftey, and we can block it out if we try. Just think about nature more, and how beautiful it can be. Imagine the vistas, imagine a coastline with nothing other than sand on it, that should help cheer you up.

Forgive me Eltu, I did not notice this thread until know,i understand alot of what you are saying, technology is a result of a curious mind though, curiosity can lead to bad things but without that we would not be human.

Technology is what separates us from Monkeys and Apes. You are being hypocritical by even using a computer right now. I tell you what, go out into the jungle and try and live without technology. I bet if you did that you'd last less than 3 days and come back into the world of technology feeling rather stupid.

Are you saying that we are worth more than monkeys?

In that case, I strongly disagree with you and, frankly, see no reason in continue debating with you.

I am in a VERY bad mood right now, depressed, sad, and frustrated. You telling me that I am WRONG, DOES NOT HELP.

Thank you.

Eltu... it's not stupid at all. Ignore Harmony... I hope that one day you'll find what you're looking for, that we all do.

Eltu i know you are not feeling good, im sure we are all nature lovers and we disagree about how's life on earth right now, it's always the same yeah that's true , but when you/we are walkin out in nature places, it's important to enjoy that moments because we are not sure if we can do that in the future ... that's what i do and it really works

best wishes Eltu

As I said in my original post... it's not Earth, nature itself that is saddening... I know Earth is incredibly beautiful, and I do take long walks out in nature when I have the chance...

It's rather the community and life situation we have today... Sure, I can be outside, experience the beauty of Earth... but once I get back, I get reminded of the harsh reality. As I said in my OP, the sense of community... where everyone around you, every day, are persons you can share your life with... it's not present in modern society.

And I mean... what happens i the future? Will I get a repetitive job, do the same things every day..? What am I striving to accomplish right now?

I mean...I don't want to live like this... it isn't my home - it feels like I don't belong here...
This.

I see a lot of replies of people saying "take a walk" or "go camp somewhere," but the only problem with that is that, when it's over, we're all still back in our old jobs, our old schools, the old 9-5s, the old offices, and when we run out of vacation time at work, no more vacations. Why can't we live the way we want to live everyday, not just for a little while? Why are we forced to do what the world wants us to do, even when we don't want to? If we are all going to die our own deaths one day, why the hell can't we live our own lives?

Why can't people embrace their untamed spirits, the way the Na'vi do? Why do we feel the need to repress and chain ourselves into modern society?

I swear, this makes me so angry sometimes. I was watching the news about riots in Greece, and part of me wanted them to overthrow the government.
