Good to hear that, Eltu. It is important to find not only a place in the future to strive to, but also to find a place in the present to live in. Seems like you have found something that works for you.
I learned this (but still have to learn how to live it) from what I have read on some native people like the Sng'Oi or the Hadza. They usually live in the moment, for the present. It is good to look at the future and plan what can be done then - it is the best way to change things that will happen. Without looking at the future, no change can happen. But without living in the present, there is no life. I think people in our society look at the future all the time. They forget to be in the present. They are unhappy in their present, so they want change and this is why they think of the future and plan ahead all the time.
I do not exclude myself from this at all. I spend a lot more time thinking about how to change my life than living in the present. That is why I said, I still have to learn. Find a balance. Think of the future and the changes ahead but also stay in the present and live. This 4-day weekend I will be away from the forums, the internet and all technology again and be with friends doing "medieval camping" - it is a lot easier to accept this as the present and feel alive than on other days, but still it will be a time to be living in the moment and I hope I can carry some of this with me into the daily life beyond.

I have not found my home yet.

But I will. Eventually, one way or another.

i don't know how old you are, but maybe it is time to pack yer stuff to set sails to another place that comforts you more than the place you live in right now.

it does not have to be far, but just right circumstances.

for example i live in a city, but i have a huge huge garden filled with blue and purple flowers and loads of trees and greenness and birds and little wurms and if that\s not enough i go to the stables where my beautifull matey horse Lorien is, in the middle of a forrest. i seek comfort in those places.

go find your place on this earth. don't sit down regretting. be progressive, FIND your place. you are young, you can do it. the sky is the limit (as they say on earth).

i moved away to the other side of the country. away from my family, my friends and everything i have ever known in my life to be here, alone, not knowing anyone, a stranger. but i feel sort of happy.
loaded my horse, fishes and turtles and just drove. not even having a job or so. (that has turned out very good, i must admit. i hope you will meet same advantages)

i wish you all the luck and strenght you need.
