Default "Rituals" before an upcoming event ... - anyone ?

that makes you feel anxious/nervous ... i'd like to know if you have a kind of ritual before an important event , so now i'll share mine ... The day before a football/soccer match, I always have the habit of don't eating anything the day before, I usually play on saturday mornings, so on friday i only have breakfast and then nothing more except water or any drink until the game's finished ... I know maybe that's not the most suitable thing to do before a football/soccer match or any other physical activity, but i've done that for 4 ages and thanks to that i play more concentrated, and somehow i have more energy while playing

I just wanted to share this with you because next friday starts the schools tournament, so maybe i can get some advices here thanks ToS

I don't really have anything. Sometimes I listen to music that gets me in the appropriate mood, but nothing really that I always do or the same way.

If its something that makes me particularly nervous, i think hard about the worst possible case scenario. Then i think... okay, if that happened... who would care? Who would remember? It would just be funny and i'd probably get some friends out of it or at least a big laugh.

Also, about the soccer games, i used to never eat the meal before the game too! It really does make you concentrate lol, but i couldn't do a whole day before, then i'd probably be very hungry-distracted

I have to go to the bathroom every time before a sportive event. Don't know if that's some kind of ritual, though...

maybe that's anxiousness Zenit, that also happened to me when i ate before sportive events, but now i don't do that ... so that doesn't happen to me , well i play football/soccer as a goalkeeper, so that position i think is a bit more important than being a striker or a midfielder, i have the responsability of talking to the team and saving it (as a goalkeeper i have complete view of the pitch so i can tell them where's a free space) , thanks for your replies and wish me luck for this friday haha
