Any Pet Peeves?

-driving (mainly due to the rather confrontational nature some people develop once they get behind the wheel of a car)
-Having set appointments
-My tendency to check things multiple times
-Insomnia (I have suffered from it for a few years. It usually lasts several weeks with several weeks in between that I get decent sleep)
-When people make hasty generalizations about an individual or group of people based on little and/or trivial information
-Not having anything to drink when I have something to eat
-Not having the time to spend hours focused on a topic and/or activity that interests me

Basically people who think they're above everyone else in some way, usually because they have more money.

In the same sort of area as that: People who go to the trouble and expense of ordering a take-away pizza, and get a plain cheese. Man the f*ck up - get some toppings . Plain cheese pizzas should be illegal.

Some others:

Hiccups. Hiccups should be banned - they ruin evenings.

People who hang toilet paper the wrong way around. The correct way is over, not under.

People who keep ketchup in the cupboard rather than in the fridge. Even the bottle says "Keep refrigerated". Obey the bottle.

People who claim to be "into metal", who follow the statement up with "i like slipknot + korn lol!". The same goes for other assorted nu-metal/metalcore nonsense. You have failed. Manowar request that you leave the hall.

Those moments where you really need to pee, but you just sit there proceeding with what you're doing (mostly out of stubbornness), letting it get worse and worse until you finally get up and almost let go on the way to the bathroom... Maybe just me on that one?

They're, there, their & you're/your confusion. No explanation needed on that one.

People Who Capitalise The Start Of Every Word In Their Sentence (I once had a friend who said they did this because it made things "look neater").

People who have messy PC desktops. RAGE. It looks horrid. Fix it!

People who don't take care of their cars, and people who claim to be detailing experts and give everyone horrible advice!

Oh and people who claim to like all music but dismiss things of certain genres! If you dont like more than 4 genres and pretty much listen to only one you don't actually appreciate all music! >.<

Forgot this one! It's always funny in an infuriating sort of way when people make a statement like "Oh, I like all types of music ... apart from rap, country, metal, hip-hop..." or some other similarly-structured self-defeating comment.

Solution:

Linking people to this page is usually a good method of fixing these people. Odds are that they do not enjoy all of the genres listed... and that's just the A-F section .

OOOO this drives me insane!!! i saw one person drive up to the gas station when I was filling up my car in his black suburban, pop the hood, look at the dipstick, go inside but two quarts of oil, fills the car up with both, check the dipstick again, goes inside buys another quart and adds a quarter of the bottle and drives off. I'm sitting there like WTF oil doesn't just dissappear! That dudes got a serious problem... how is the suburban still running anyways!? This is no excuse! A vegetarian topping can be applied: Mushrooms, peppers, etc...

It wouldn't be quite the same as having a whole buffalo or half a toucan atop your pizza, but at least you'd be trying, damn it .

another one for me, extremely dirty cars inside and out. Especially drives me insane when I spot really bad swirl marks on a car >.<

Heres one people do in my family that really bothers me:
-When someone responds "What?" or "Huh?" two or more times after you say something, and you know they heard what you said, but do it anyway. I really don't know why my family does this. It REALLY bothers me.
