Wow I can't believe this little idea of mine has shot up. I love what you guys have suggested, a more "Community Support" than a rant. Sounds good to me.

It's a most logical proposal. Let's make this happen. It will redirect more specific posts to this forum and leave the general forums under less pressure. I often miss support posts that are in the general forums, so it will be nice to have a sub-forum where the relevant support posts have somewhere to go.

Community support, sounds good. My support is there.

Aw, I can put up a hell of a lot better argument than that if anyone wants?

I really don't care.

If people feel a need for a new subforum for venting and support, by all means, let it be made. If people are against a subforum that'd lump all the monologue topics together, thus removing the "adventure" (as one put it) from looking in each section, people can vote against it.

I love being involved with forum changes and votes, but with this subject I couldn't care less, and that's saying a lot for myself.

Well, Anything more general (monologues, etc) doesn't belong there, but one for when people are feeling in need of some support, or just want to complain about things, then they can go in there. Personally, I barely ever browse by subforum, I just use 'new posts' and the search feature, and it's not like it would be any less visible than the other subforums.

I've seen this idea work well on other forums. My only suggestion (if it hasn't been suggested or thought of already) is to make such a sub forum only visible if you are logged in.

This guys idea is great too, I don't really want randoms from the Interwebs to see peoples deepest feelings.

Seconded. I'm not sure whether I'm for or against such a subforum -- I know that I'd give such a subforum extra attention, but I have to echo Aquaplant's concerns -- but if we do create such a subforum I think this is a good idea.

To have it hidden is a very good idea. It is possible to have this subforum, or whatever it will be, invisible to all except those who are registered.

Well the poll is closed, the majority has spoken, and I could care less.

So what now? Obviously the people paying attention have mostly said "Yes", and a vote of "Undecided/don't care" is like a default vote for an opposing candidate to a president who wishes to be reelected.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a pointless post?

I don't really like this idea to be honest, there's enough ranting without a whole board devoted to it.

Dev, the board means that you will not have to look at it... Ever. Unless you venture inside (after equipping your Indianna Jones gear)

What kind of message are you trying to send, you would deny people the support so many need?
