I found many great people on both ToS and AF. All brought together by the effect that the film Avatar has uniquely had on them. People from across the planet, from all walks of life and ages. Humble individuals who are genuine, respectful and offer nothing but words of kindness, love and support. Oh and a good laugh at times too.
I must admit I have been on AF since Jan and I can honestly say I was not aware of the troubles that seem to have caused this new 'clan' to form. But then I'm not a prolific poster, work gets in the way too much.  It is a shame that whatever went off happened. All I know is that I have found some really good people on AF, some of whom are on this form too, who kinda help me no longer feel alone in the world. I hope both forums continue to flourish and spread their friendship. My pictogram says: 'One world. Why not one people?' I hope regardless of which forum we are on, we are one people. I agree with this thread. It does help that our egos are put in check and that there is a real effort to respect each other and have good, serious discussions without it devolving into a flame war
 .

What we as an Avatar community have is truly unique indeed, in all other communities - there are always some people flaming each other, and 99% of everyone is just rude to each other in general.
I don't know what it is with us/this place but... I like it I like you all *hugs* Not enough smilies

In lots of other communities you'll get people falling out every now and then, people getting banned, flamed etc..
Infact even in the real world people can tend to not be too kind... Here, it's all different.....
