Default My first attempt at a stereo 3D video

Kaltxi folks,

Wasn't sure where to put this (no suggestions ),but havng been facinated by the 3d-ness(?) of Avatar, it kinda inspired me to have a go myself. So I've done a short video which I've put on You Tube.

There is some 3D animation as well as live footage. It took quite a bit of doing getting the footage lined up as the cameras were different and on tripods and a dolly. Hopefully it works. I sort of have trouble seeing it a bit as my left eye is a bit dodgy.

There is an Avatar connection in there, if folks can spot it and it's not the animation at the end. The clue is Jake's scene in the science lab. It was my poor attempt at acting -it took 37 goes -pah! Here it is:

That was absolutely brilliant. I love how you executed everything. Simply outstanding.

Now only if I had a pair of anaglyph glasses...

Pretty much. =(

I loved the video anyway, though! The ending animation was great.

Thanks for your comments they are appreciated. I've bought a book of making Stereo 3D films. I might find out I did it all wrong! Still gives me an excuse to have another go. He, he, he...

My next video project at the moment is with the folks here and on Avatar Forums about looking after our home planet, inspired by Avatar of course. If you want to find out more follow the link: http://www.tree-of-souls.com/environ...roduction.html
