Well i don't plan to see it - and thats not because its an obvious object to direct hate against as an avatar fan. But i was never really into the Alice world, hell i only know that a character is names the mad hatter... and then alice.. im oblivious to the rest ( not anymore since i have seen the trailer like 10 times before avatar startet ) but... :p i was until avatar came into the theaters

Alice in Wonderland was a fun movie to watch. There were a few parts that get tiresome such as every time there is a "period" film the feisty girl seems to hate corsets and must make some kind of comment about it (ie. Little Women and Pirates of the Caribbean). Other than that, it was enjoyable
.

Saw it today at the Imax, in the same seat as the last time I was there (Guess what I was seeing
). It's nothing exciting...Found it quite boring with a few funny bits tbh ~Skxawng

It was... alright. It was pretty good, though I don't feel like Tim Burton really expressed his mind in it. It could've been way more dream-like and disturbing and such like the book, but it was pretty good.

I took my best friend to see it in IMAX; I felt I owed him this because he's always been there for me (and more so in the last month). He was really, REALLY looking forward to seeing it.
We both left the theater rather unimpressed. He said it was okay but nothing he'd ever see again or buy on disk. Of note: after only three weeks into its release, Alice has been relegated to just one show a day at our local IMAX, with the release of How to Train Your Dragon.

It was a good movie, and the "Wonderland's" forest reminded me of Pandora sometimes
except that the CGI was nowhere near the reality of Avatar. I did enjoy the movie, but the story was so fast and weird it was difficult to put yourself in the place of any character. There were no very-emotional scenes/moments to cry for or feel the happiness of any character.Yes it was a good entertainment, but did not make me cry, laugh or blow my mind like Avatar did. |

I didnt really like it much. Though this could be because I went in with very high expectations. I am a pretty big Tim Burton fan, even more of a Danny Elfman fan!!! Yet I have not liked some of his more recent works like the willy wonka remake, and with AIW I did not feel this was one of his strongest works.
I will take my classics like Beetlejuice and Nightmare before Christmas

![]() I kinda went in with 0 expectations (probably why I liked it so much afterward). I don't know why I loved it so much though... Maybe I'm just a sucker for child stories (i.e. Peter Pan (2003 ver.) actually made me cry; I'm in love with the Narnia series; etc.). |

I dont think I liked it as much also partially due to growing up with the classics of these movies they are remaking. Though originally I though, AIW is such an out there story to begin with Burton should really make this amazing. In the end I left let down a tad
