Default Had An Awesome Dream A Few Hours Ago

I took a nap a little while ago, and had a pretty cool Avatar dream. I wasn't a Na'vi or anything, but it was still cool. It was nighttime, and I was at Site 26, with my feet kicked up on the table, with one of those water bottle/can things (Jake was drinking from one in the "you lucky swine" scene) in hand. I was looking out at bioluminescent vines that were creeping up the window outside, and I had a nice "life is good" feeling going.

Just wanted to share.

I haven't had a dream about Avatar yet, unfortunately.. But for some reason last night, I dreamed that I was dressed up as a clown.

Nice! I don't usually remember my dreams, but they're invariably as uninteresting as they come. Have you tried lucid dreaming, or was this spontaneous?

Lucky... I haven't dreamed for far too long...

I never used to dream before avatar, but then I started, and now it's gone, and I miss it...

Awesome dream you had. I still haven't had a dream about Pandora. I've dreamt about the Na'vi and Avatar itself but not Pandora :/ But I still get some pretty interesting dreams. Like this morning, I had a dream that I was using my iPod as a gun using one of those gun apps. Pretty weird but funny now that I think about it.

I heard about that, but I'm not really sure what it involves...

Here, HNM, if you have an iPhone/iTouch, try this.
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/astra...352196637?mt=8

I was up late studying last night, and got around 3 hours of sleep, and I used the "Sleep 2" setting on this, and had a good 3 vivid dreams and a few fragments. I almost never dream like that when I sleep that little at night.

Never tried this with a nap. Hmmmm...

What I did was not wake myself up at regular intervals as you (supposedly) have to, I just wrote down everything I could remember about the dream as soon as I woke up, either during the night or the next morning. If you can start to remember your dreams without the aid of a journal, you're ready for the next step.

Congrats to you for having a dream about Avatar. I still have not had one. Though I desperatly want to. I have tried Lucid dreaming but got no where. I guess I have been trying to skip steps and stuff. Going to start keeping a dream journal now.

Yeah, don't skip steps. LDing is one of those things that you really can't cut corners with, even though it seems like you can. A lot of people doubt the usefullness of a dream journal, but once you start one, you'll begin to realize just how vital it is. I went from recalling 1 dream or so a night to something like 5+ dreams a night.
