Default ToS and AF Community Film Project Update

Kaltxi folks,

Thought I would give you good people a heads up on where we are at with the Avatar Communities' film project. This is involving folks from both Tree of Souls and Avatar Forums. You can see thread started here for it: http://www.tree-of-souls.com/environ...roduction.html.

In the past week there has been a mass of activity on the thread:I've got and idea....

Just to remind folks though, this project is to make a film covering our need to look after our planet. Something that seems to get talked about a lot on these forums and one of the main themes and messages of Avatar.

The concept is that people say their little bit to camera and film what they are talking about. These clips then all get edited together to form a community film that can be shown on places like You Tube etc. We are also looking at the possibility of putting a DVD together with some interactive features.

Not only does this see us as two communities trying to do something to help protect our environment it also shows what a group of people from around the world can achieve together.

At the moment the 'script' is going through some final tweaks. We have also sorted out a method of transferring the video clips through t'internet. Everyone who takes part in the project will also get a DVD copy to keep themselves to remind them what they achieved.

So far we have had 18 people saying they would like to be involved from both here and AF. More are welcome, especially if there are any tsmuke (sisters) out there who would like to get involve. We would really like you to get involved. I mean, I'll have to ask the chaps to dress up if not! :nsmile:

If anyone is interested then click on the links above. If you want to see what the opening shot will look like, take a look half way down on page 7 of the second thread. Page 12 gives a fuller update on where we are at.

Irayo for your time and contributions. We look forward to seeing you.

Oel ngati kameie,

Alan
