You probably can't attain nirvana until Maitreya, the next buddha, comes along. Which may not be for millions of years so it's best to obtain lots of good karma, be reborn as a high sphere god, and wait it out.
or you can be a Paccekabuddha and keep it to yourself. dick.

I'm not buddhist though, but I can believe in reincarnation without being Buddhist.

I, as many may have guessed, do not believe anything. I do have wildly audacious hopes, however, and they have kept me accessible to spiritual minded people. I occasionally will admittedly dismiss someone's beliefs, but I never dismiss a hope, wild as it may be.

 If you were hindu though you might be reborn as am insect or something like that if you do something bad though. Do you want to be reborn as anything Iron_Jones?
