Wow Deus Ex is incredibly old, but looks interesting. For some reason, with all today's "super games" with their complex physics systems and graphics, there's always a game that's old but it's soul carries on into the next generation and possibly even further.

Let me put it like this...

I have played hundreds and hundreds of computer games.

Deus Ex is the very best of them all - a deep and philosophical story, wonderful addictive gameplay, amazing music... it has everything, and does it perfectly.

As much as they have super graphics and physics many of them lacks good gameplay experience or story.

In response to rasomaso -
I wish I would be able to play any of the MGS games. But I have never owned a console in my life - only PC (well, and mac) computers, limiting my gaming experiences to that platform

Currently, I've only got EVE to distract me.

Waiting on Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, and WH40K: Dark Millennium online.

Yeah when the MGS1 theme kicked in on heliport I had goose bumps all over my back, MGS4 is awesome! I have to play it again when a friend returns it. VSS+M4 ftw!

Eltu, 2 things:

1) Read all the dialog in the codec (radio)!

2) Do not EVER think about skipping a cutscene!

I was Just Playing Deus ex not to long ago. I'm Agreeing with you Eltu, the gameplay is addictive. (Considering that I die suddenly and I haven't reacently saved makes me play more to makeup lost ground.)
