I didn't cry, which is strange because everytime I go I am sure that I will. I do feel a lot of emotional punches to the gut though, a LOT.

The beginning made me break down in a way. Seeing the trailers gave away the story, and the movie mislead you to believe you were going to just get into the thicket of it. I had a dream that kind of represented flying the day before I saw the flick. I knew what exactly Jake was talking about. I dropped a tear when the shuttle disbarged from the ISV Venture Star, it looked like an angel..... falling from the sky. It's... so beautiful.

I still tear up when I see it.

I always have a little tear swell up when Neytiri puts the exo pack on Jake and they say "I see you" to eachother. Such a beautiful scene! I also love the scene when he rides his Ikran for the first time (dont cry there but do get emotional LOL)

To be completely honest, this movie gets more and more emotional for me each time I see it... by the end of the night my shirt and sleeves are covered in tears, maybe Friday night I should bring tissues...

THIS, and the music in that scene....
The moment they press the button to burn Tom's body it immediately cuts to the shuttle and that music starts... Its so beautiful!

It takes a really emotional movie to make me tear up. I can say that AVATAR didnt only manage to make me tear up. I cried. Not too much though. Only in the drama spots. like the fall of hometree or the death of Grace. But when the Navi hit the RDA I was too exited

The soft voice that sings in that scene reminds me a lot of the voice that sings in the end in "My Jake" scene...

Am I right?

The last scene where it says AVATAR makes me cry, such a beautiful ending.

First three times I cried a fair amount. After that it declined, to where I was dry-eyed for my seventh showing. Or was it eight? I can't recall.

I used to cry 7 or 8 times throughout a viewing, but I'm down to about 4 parts now. I really enjoy experiencing the emotions it brings!

I agree, The shuttle launching gives me the goosebumps every time. The whole beginning of the movie is just so "shocking" I never cry, but just watch... eyes size of teacups...
