The truth is I have even had people complain to me about you in the past and I am not even an admin on this forum...or any forum for that matter.

Maybe it would be easier to say "I don't like it so you can't do it", but that is not the case. I just feel it is inappropriate for the images you show to be in this place given the audience and the subject matter of this forum.

Instead of being aggressive to those to whom you cause offence, has it occurred to you to apologise and make amends?

Alan
I do try but it's sometimes difficult to not seem a little aggressive when one chooses to be offended by something and then believes that makes them entitled to tell another person to change. I could be offended by your sig. Two characters of Avatar lying romantically together. That could imply some saucy things;

Though even if I was actually offended, I wouldn't care. It's your sig, and if I don't like it, I just won't pay attention to it. But that's just me.

And people complaining to others about me are of little importance to me. Had I received messages upon adding this .gif to my sig explaining it was not appreciated, I would've taken it down. But I didn't, so that leads me to believe that it's not a problem, or no one really cares. And if people do care, I presume (this being the internet and all so there's not much confrontation) they would tell me so.

If it's really a problem and I get a message from an admin, I'll gladly take it down. But that just shows that they haven't been doing their job, as they'd be a few months late to the game.

You misunderstand me. The images do not actually offend me. I just feel that they are not appropriate for this Avatar related forum that is open to kids and other visitors to this forum.

The reason I care is because I don't want this forum, that I support, to stop being an inoffence and welcoming place for new and existing fans of Avatar.

Well, kids should not be coming to forum for a movie that is PG 13+, as it deals with sex and lots of violence.

So, I got my right two wisdom teeth taken out. Once everything heals up and stuff, I wont have that weird feeling in my jaw.

One of mine impacted several years ago and I had all of them removed.

I remember thinking at the time that it made my top five list of most painful events. But it hasn't left the lasting "I'll always remember what that felt like" as some of the other things I've had to endure did.

Country should split into two genres, one specifically for the crap.

So basically there's outlaw country from the 60's-80's and then there's crap.

And I come back....to a fight over Country music, interesting.

Well, I made it to Christmas/end of the first semester of my first year teaching. Hurray! Sadly, got an entire second semester to look forward too.

I think in order for it to be a 'fight', there has to be an opposing side.
