Good friends tell me that you'll lose weight always if you don't eat things that are processed. It makes sense... natural things are supposed to do naturally good things for you. Eating cheeseburgers won't make you into a twig overnight.

I feel like a hypocrite right now. I go on and off my new eating habits. I can eat eggs, protein drinks, and vegetables for a good long time but the pressure of having absolutely NO taste will make me crack. A good friend of mine told me of this diet plan and how he had to deal with it. He said you should deal with it till you start seeing results.... kind of a harsh thing to say, but burning fat is a nasty business. The discomfort of resisting urges is.. well, imagine.

Don't worry... The answer is a balance. If you don't enjoy eating, you won't bother. If you don't eat well, you won't improve. You need to have something you should and then something nice afterwards.

I agree, I am constantly switching up my diet non stop so that I can keep it interesting. Like I spent a while on really low carbs to cut fat and then this past month finally had my good old carb meals again! Now Im doing carb cycling, meaning I switch up my intake everyday which keeps it good. Variety is the spice of life

I wish I knew the variety, I'm kind of lost when it comes to these things with diets and foods. Suggestions are always welcome, but I can find some tomorrow, I'm too tired to concentrate, let alone spell correctly .

Well for me one of the varieties is carb cycling, meaning I am taking in more carbs on my resistance days. So on those days for breakfast instead of eating maybe one measly piece of toast I will have some wheat waffles, or a bagel and yogurt. Otherwise I normally have some eggs.

Ive also been using Shakeology which is a meal replacement shake for lunch for a good while now and while sometimes drinking lunch all the time is annoying I always mix it with different things so that it doesnt always taste exactly the same. Lastly for dinner, I somewhat let the grocery store and my diet decide (based on my carb intake mostly). I just see what is on for a special and buy up the meat whether it is chicken or steak. Then you can freeze it or cook it in big batches and it gives you leftovers.

I always find it best to have everything prepared for your meals almost 2 days ahead so that you are not guessing and can make sure you dont forget to do something and give in to a craving you have been having.

Try the vowel diet... eat things that begin with a vowel... today I had an orange and Oreos!

Also going to see if I can use my churches recording equipment to make a live mix CD this Friday
