I'm in San Diego and can't attend Comic Con (lots of reasons). I suspect that Cameron & company are going to wait for a major announcement until then. I've looked around on the 'net a lot and can't find a single new piece of news about the re-release next month. He's keeping a tight lid on it for sure.
If there is anyone on this board (or you know of anyone) that is coming to the con, let's meet up! When we do find out the dates, then we can start planning a movie crowd.

Maybe we could go the other forums and find out how many people live in which areas?
i.e. find out how many fans live in California, Chicago, Prague, Canada, etc.... This way we have a bigger pool of people. Just an idea.

I'd love to meet up with fellow Avatar fans in the New York/New Jersey area and get a group of us together (even if it's just a small group) to go to an IMAX theater to see the Avatar Re-release. I myself live in northern New Jersey.

I'll be in Princeton (which isn't really north but close enough) starting September but probably wouldn't be able to meet up with anyone till... oh.... around the 15th. Which is still fine with me. If someone organized it, I'll probably go
