Memories from a life you never had?

I don't know if this is a rare case or a common occurence but do you have any memories of things you apparently never experienced?

This has happened to me. I remember being on a balcony of a wooden house out in a forest, Evergreen trees surround this house and there seems to be only a dirt and gravel road in and out of the area. Im young, like 7 or 8 years of age and Im holding a fishing rod (weird, I know) and I seem to be lowering something down to what appears to be my older brother and another child (my youngest brother would've been in a pram). My grandparents are there, well my grandad is anyway. He's admiring the trees around him and he has that typical content look on his face. My parents are nowhere to be seen.

I told my family about this memory I had and I drew a picture of what is was but they said we were never at such a place nor experienced anything like that.

It doesn't feel like a dream, dreams are a lot more vague. This is definitely a memory, I know I experienced this sometime when I was young but apparently I didn't

Now Im not the one for believing the supernatural crap or reincarnation but could this be a memory from a previous life? I'm not sure.
