Default Dreams that bring on Emotion.

After reading a few different threads with dreams in them I thought up this.

Who has had any dreams that brought on emotion. Like when you woke up you felt happy, sad, angry? Or if you think back to it you're you feel the same emotion?

Sorry if this is too off topic. But I'll start.

Many years ago, when I was around 10. A dream I had made me very sad, I mean crying sad, and whenever I think back to it it makes me sad still.

It's where me and my dad are out in a field and my dad is carrying a big pipe to around the field. The pipe is huge like the size of a truck. And my dad is carrying it on his tippy toes and you can tell he is working hard and desperate. Why he is carrying the pipes around I don't know. But what happens was he loses strength and the pipe crashes down on top of him.

I run up to him and the look in his eyes still makes me tear up just remembering it. When I woke from it I ran downstairs and gave my dad a big hug and cried. I don't know what it is, but I get really sad whenever I think of this dream I had and it is very unlike me to get so worked up over a dream.

I guess I'm wondering if anyone else has had any dreams that brought on emotion.

That's sad

Well, I've dreamed of Pandora, and of Neytiri... those dreams always make me happy, but really depressed, and I can never do anything afterwards, sometime I've just been lying there crying afterwards.

Haven't been dreaming again recently though

I haven't had a dream of Avatar yet , but sometimes just thinking of it... and not being able to go to Pandora... it makes me want to cry, let it out, but I can't; its maddening, makes me feel like a zombie. I feel your pain, ma tsmukan, maybe a little differently, but its there. Oel ngati kameie.

I do get emotional responses from dreams about two to three times a week. Mostly fear or joy from having something I've wanted for a long time (and then waking up and realizing that it was just a dream... that feeling SUCKS lol).

But it's rarely anything really dramatic like Fighter-of-Wars' dream. Well... At least not that I can remember.)

I've also felt pain in dreams too. And wake up thinking that it still hurts. Like for example, I had a dream not too long ago that I was stabbed in the buttocks (wierd right? ) and woke up expecting that I'm still in pain (and then realizing it was just a dream. And that feeling does NOT suck )

Those dreams are so annoying...

For me, there is also the variation where it's something you never even though of/wanted, but it's really epic... then you wake up and END UP wanting one...

I've had very emotional dreams, still do. I've woken up crying on many occasions, having dreamt of someone in my family dying, usually my sister or my brother. I've woken up in abject terror, too, convinced a nightmare was real. Not fun in a dark house! When I was in school, I used to have dreams of doing my homework and I would wake up thoroughly shocked to find that it wasn't done. It's rare that I don't feel *something* when I dream.

Back when I was really young dreams were much more emotional for me. But as I grew older the emotion has gone away. Oh well....

But as far as Avatar dreams go, I've only had one very short lived dream. But it was the most incredible and vivid dream i've ever had in my entire life. Just wished I knew what it means

I tend to get very...emotionally sad dreams. I am very paranoid about things like being alone, not like physically alone but like alone in the sense of no one being there for me. At least about 4-5 times a week I have dreams that wake me up and sometimes I'll be crying but other times its out of fear. I have always been a very restless sleeper. About two nights ago I had a dream about my boyfriend. He just recently started driving and I've lots of dreams about him getting into a car crash and he always dies in my dreams and it really freaks me out because it feels so real. Sometimes I go over to his house and just cry on him because my dreams scare me so much. I've seen about 6 car accidents and I was in a motorcycle accident with my uncle who races dirt bikes and he was going a little to fast and we got badly hurt and sent to the hospital.

I tend to never have very many good dreams. It'll start out good but end in a nightmare so I've always hated sleeping and dreaming. Sometimes I've even resorted to taking sleep medication so that I'm so tired I can't even dream.
