...Avatar is expressed or advertised the wrong way or is made fun of with sexual themes?

It enfuriates me to see people not seeing avatar the way it is suppose to, esp. in a disturbing manor.

Yeah. There's WAY too much hype around the "sex" scene.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if, during the commercials for the rerelease (assuming it happens) that right at the part when they say "6 additional minutes" we get a glimpse of that. Hollywood will be Hollywood.

Just try not to care, and appreciate Avatar for what it's really worth

Indeed, I really do dislike it when it's advertised like this.

But as Aiwha said - sex sells in modern society.

It's just extremely sad that many people only see Avatarians as people who only enjoy Avatar for the "Blue alien cat sex"... They can't see that people can enjoy it for other reasons.

This is just what the society demands, that's why internet is full of these awful advertisements. People want to watch it, they need it, it's fun for them. As a real Avatar fan I really hate it.
