Default Our Names, Avatars and Signetures.

I think we should tell each other why we chose the names for our users and also the things in our signetures.

My Name, Rainbowhawk1993, was the Username I chose for my online registure for a game called Tom Clancy's HAWX. The Rainbow part comes from Tom Clancy's Book "Rainbow Six" and the Hawk part is from HAWX because It is a Dog-fighting jet-fighter game. The 1993 part was there because the user name requered some of numbers(my birth year).

As for my Avatar, It is an Image of a hawk and it is from my favorite game "Starcraft"

For the signature, I had to have the Quete for something worth fighting for because some things that are worth fighting for are rare today. I had to have the Na'vi I see you because alot of people here have it in their's. The image of Jake brusing his hand in Naytiri's hair when he comes back as Tourk Makto was one of my favorite scenes because it's about revived hope. The little thing one how Rainbowhawk flies on the wings of freedom hope and liberty shows that I would be a freedom fighter if given the oppertunity. and the Title image of Starcraft II: Wings of liberty lets you understand the "Perhaps most importiantly, liberty part."

Note: If there are users who like to change signatures, Post your signature in the Reply to get an understanding of the signature before your new one.

I chose 'TheIknimaya' as my name because it represents one of my favorite parts/scenes from Avatar. This scene is so uplifting, the music is incredible, the environment is mesmerizing and captivating, everything about this scene makes me happy and feel great.

My Avatar is of course Neytiri. She will always have a special place in my heart.

My signature is of course Neytiri smiling during the Tree of Voices scene. Her smile is simply beautiful and I just love her. <3 If I ever change my signature it will always include Neytiri.

I began using "Eltu" as my username once I became a member of AF 6 months ago. I wanted to have a Na'vi-sounding name (Eltu means brain in Na'vi), which was short, easy to type and easily recognizable. Eltu fitted perfectly.

My signature and Avatar I made in Photoshop 2-3 months ago. They are designed to be simple, small, stylish and braggi... informative.

tm20 is a username i've been using for a while on other places so I've stuck with it.

my Avatar is also my MSN picture. I like the look of it as it's Avatar related and it fits nicely in the little space provided.

My sig is the most special out of the other things in my opinion. The quote is taken from the song "Danger-Keep Away" by Slipknot (and no, it's not an angry, metal song but a beautiful piano song) and i put it in because it's one of the songs (i would say the number one song) which makes me think about Pandora. The image is from the Art of Avatar Book and I chose it because i wanted something that wasn't too big but would fill as much of the space horizontally. I love the picture and it fits perfectly with how I fell everytime i listen to that song.

My name was completely random and made spontaneously on the spot.

When I decided to join ToS, DAMMIT, I didn't want any planning involved. I created my name right in the name box once I signed up with no planning whatsoever.

And I kinda regret doing so. Cause honestly I think it's kinda lame and actually sounds geekish. If I could change it I'd probably change it to something simple...like "Bob" or "Eddy" you know?

I used the name Advent, from playing such things as Advent Rising and Sins of a solar empire, and the entrenchment expansion. I fell in love with those games, and took that as my name.
Here's a pic of the Advent faction from SoaSE:

Halcyon Super carrier.

The pic is because i like a different, unique way of doing things. The neon pic also reflects my sarcastic and random personality.

My sig is because I greatly admire the power of such weapons, and I try to remind people where the power and technology is held.

I chose "josie20" because Josie was my nickname at my old job(my real name is Josiah). For some reason people just started calling me Josie. *shrugs* I put "20" at the end because it was my age at the time(I'm now 21 )

My sig is a quote I came up with(except the one by recycled souls, of course. I have that in there because I think it's funny. ) I also have another quote I came up with in my sig over at AF, but I couldn't put it here because of a character limit or something.

Well I originally wasn't ever going to be "Woodsprite". In fact, when I first joined I never knew what the word "woodsprite" meant until I looked it up before I typed it in the bar.

I was supposed to be "Dreamwalker", but the name was taken just ahead of me. (Damn you, Dreamwalker!! ) So I looked up all sorts of fauna and flora names from the film, and chose "Woodsprite" because it sounded neat, and because it represented a spritual entity to the Na'vi, and I'm a spiritual person (Christian). That's the reason behind that.

My avatar always depicts a woodsprite; this is my second avatar I've had since I first joined, so I've gotta find another new woodsprite pic.

My signature never has a picture because making signatures reminds me of a former Narnia forum I was a part of before I joined, and I had some bad, bad experiences there with some corrupt moderators. AF became no different (although, they never deliberately lied to or manipulated anyone like the NarniaFans ones did). So a picture signature is out. Plus, I wouldn't want to constantly update it all the time, because I'm very good at collages, but they take about 40+ minutes for me to do, even if they're small (I'm a huge detail freak).

So for my signature I just have links to things that matter to me. I fear anything non-Avatar related would just be passed over and unnoticed because it isn't in jive with the rest of everything.

Many many years ago, when I was a fresh beginner in World of Warcraft. I had to design my favorite druid. Delving deep within my memories, I tried to find a name that was unique, without being stupid, a play on words, or just, just...

So, I dragged up an old favorite. The Aiwha.

Yeah, the big flappy thing.

However, in my youthful enthusiasm, I neglected to check my spelling, the error did not become apparent to me until much later, at a point where restarting over a misplaced H would be ridiculous.

Now though, I've discovered that I share this nomer with a Japanese Anthropologist, Dr. Aihwa Ong.

So...

Yeah.

Avatar's a fanart of Spartan 058, (aka: Linda) from Halo.

Signatures 99% Tali'Zorah... (*cough* my answer to neytiri ) Proud of my Terran heritage. And a ridiculous video of my favorite gaming company on the planet.

one of my best friends at high school said I looked like a Stanley, so I adopted the name as my online name, and when just plain Stanley was taken, the first numbers that popped into my head was 9875

Username: Well when I was growing up there was an older man that lived next door to me who was an ex fighter pilot. I started out just helping him out everyonce in a while and then he would tell me stories from when he flew, the planes he flew, all his old things he kept, etc. etc. So I spent a lot of time with him growing up until I was about 15-16. His call sign when in service was "Gunny" and I always thought it sounded cool. So when I joined AF I decided that I wanted a change-up from my other forums that was just my name.

As for my Avatar and Sig.......Zoe is awesome!

Oh right and our signatures lol

the first is me in my rave mask and rave gloves, I love this picture it turned out exactly how I wanted it, and the next is a quote that means so much to my heart, because of the truth it speaks plain and simple, and the picture that goes along with it is purely amazing. And of course, Team Neytiri

I was going to update my sig though
