Red face Threads May Not Always Last; But Memories Will. :)

hey everyone! sorry if this thread is not in the proper place
I have to say, i feel bad about the cat's meow thread and how its losing it's magic. I do believe nothing lasts forever though but we have to make the best of it. We have to be prepared if this will be the end of that thread or community. it DOES happen.
but, there's always something we can remember and think about, the wonderful memories we all had as a community. I loved all the inside jokes we had, the fun times we had, laughing and chatting. remembering even on AF the way things were there until it became not so great
but like the title of this thread, threads may not always last, but memories will.. and forever too
feel free to post ur favourite memories here! it would be lovely to hear them!
i love how we would talk about blueberry juice and awkward turtles hahaha. and Andi, the fangirl dictionary.... is PRICELESS! hahahahaha

Threads come and go, the community won't. It's as simple as that.

An amazing memory I shall never forget, is after watching Avatar a few times, and being so confused on my emotions; why I was feeling this way, why I couldn't keep my mind off of Neytiri, why this movie was such an attraction to me... it left me with sleepless nights of insomnia, for days after seeing Avatar opening night. But then, I found a post on the IMDb message boards, that someone mentioned Avatar Forums, so I decided to check it out. I looked through a few threads and saw nothing but love for the movie and each other, so I signed up, and met so many incredible people and truly found what was leaving me sleepless at nights

A fantastic idea of a thread this is, allycat.

I may not have any memories to share, but I will still be here.

Hehe I don't have much to offer either, just like Stan said, those first few sensitive posts i made back on AF for the first time and the amazing response that was given.

My most powerful Avatar memory is when I burst into tears in the car after watching Avatar in theaters for the second time

Fangirl memories...hmm...lots to pick from haha, let's see. I think on the original cats' meow thread (you know, the one we got deleted because we were too naughty) we were planning some kind of band called Jakesully and the Fangirls or something like that hahaha. Aaaand being priestesses of a Jake shrine, and competing with the fanboys. Making those "heavenly behind" threads that got deleted. Being in denial that we're just as bad (or worse) then Edward Cullen fangirls (perish the thought). Cyan, CMQ at the time, writing little (slightly disturbing) stories for us. When we all wrote lemons. when you had to make sure to post in time before someone else because there was so many people posting and there would be like 10 pages since the last time you posted. and that one chat where ally, ty, and I were spazzing out over pictures. Ice cream. Popsicles. Blueberries. Sully sandwich. Good times XD.
