One of the main problems I see in politics is that people feel a bit more entitled to their opinions in areas they are essentially ignorant in. This seems to be compounded by the fact that politicians know this and, generally being relatively intelligent and educated, focus their rhetoric accordingly.

Anyway, back to thread. I disagree with how you (or not you) have portrayed the "left" and "right" sides. You (or not you) seem to be nitpicking. YOU (or, again not you) try running a country. It's probably pretty darn difficult. "Until we realize we wear chains, we won't be free. Until we realize we're slaves, they will have our freedom." I don't consider myself a slave. I don't see why I should.
