The Zion dance was one of my favorete scenes because of the great human message involved.

I love the matrix.

Yeah Matrix is one of my three most favourite movies, it's amazing! I love it from the first seconds to the end. Now the sequels are good for telling us how it went, but I like to think of the first Matrix as a stand alone movie. It's much deeper, much more spectacular experience when seeing it for the first time, feels more artistic - the camera is outstanding, the symbolism, the unknown... Amazing movie! I give it 97% for not having longer fight scenes.

actually my Top 3 would be:
Avatar (98% for being predictable)
Matrix (97% as stated)
Spirited Away (96% don't know why so low, perhaps I didn't like it as much but man, I can't find any flaw at all lol)

I absolutely love the first Matrix, the other two I still like a lot but it was "inconsistent" with the first movie, if you know what I mean.

For instance, why did they get rid of the Bullet Time effect in the second and third films? Yeah, I know it was sorta still there but instead of using frames compiled by hundreds of cameras, they replaced it with less-than-perfect CGI. I guess it would've been an unrealistic technique for the huge Smith(s) fight in the second film but the overall effect was that it made it look less realistic and less awesome.

Also the soundtrack in the first film was great! It blended orchestra composition with kick-ass D'N'B tracks which was one of the main contributors of the films awesomeness. The second and third films used less and less of this and were more orchestral.

Really what Im trying to say is that the second and third film were great films, but were "less fun" than the first Matrix.

I agree completely. The first Matrix was revolutionary, a technological marvel in itself.

And Zenit: Maybe the kettle is black. (shrugs)

Yeah, I totally didn't understand why they took out Supermoves by Overseer from the reloaded's "Smiths scene (beating them off with a stick)", it was totally kick ass in the trailer and the "orchestral weird stuff" was the biggest let down when I saw it in cinema. I was like... ouch.
