Space is a worthy goal, but if I were to do it, I'd want to be in the Star Trek era of time, where there are ships and warp etc. Not all this rockets business

But remember, warp drive slowly tears the fabric of spacetime in high traffic areas.

This limit was quietly done away with in later seasons, hopefully because they found a solution and not due to blind disregard for the universe.

Other than that, living in the Star Trek era would be totally awesome. I mean: replicators, warp, transporters, tricorders, and not to forget, Seven of Nine.

The Voyager project wasn't scrapped before the launch of Voyager 3. In the first movie "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" the main antagonist was the cybernetic being "Vger" which was later found out to be a modified version of the ancient Earth probe Voyager 3.

I will never go out in space, I hate zero gravity. I'll stay here thank you and as far as achieving a goal... I'm done. I have lived long enough to see my grandkids born.
The only thing left is to get my book/story published.
As for the space issue, I give you a wonderful quote from Babylon 5:
