All of those are great ideas! I was looking for glow in the dark yarn or fiber and several fishing lure sites have glowing yarn/cord. Some of the paints don't last very long, but the fiber optic idea is the best. Hmmmm, shuttlecock from a badminton set maybe?
They don't have to replicate the original exactly, but give the best effect.
Let's get cracking people! See how these all come together!

And Sight Unseen, that is called 'sporadic creative genius' some of us have it as a gift. Watch for it when it comes and embrace it.

hehehe.

NOW. I was thinking as I was looking at these before I slept last night...what if these could be woodsprites from Avatar?

Someone should seriously create a product line of realistically-sized glow-in-the-dark stickers of woodsprites.
How cool would it be to shut your lights off at the end of each night and see this in your room...

I'd buy it

This is an amazing Idea, This could be made easily, You'd just have to practice cutting it out of paper so it became a 3D figure and then soak it in glow in the dark paint that would charge during the day and then glow all night, I would hang them all over my room

I have an idea. IDk if it will work, but my idea is pretty inexpensive so trying it out wouldn't kill my wallet I was at Joanns yesterday and since Halloween is coming up they had a huge display of glow sticks and it kinda got me thinking that the bracelets looked kinda like a woodsprite when I put a bunch together. I might have to try it but idk if it will look very good since woodsprites are white and I dont think they sell white glow sticks XD

that'd be awesome, but the only problem with glow sticks is that they die after a few days, You can get some glow in the dark paint that is a little more expensive and lasts for years, I guess it all depends on how much money you have, how bad you want it, and how good you are at creating ridiculously intricate floating creatures

Yeah I have no clue how we could do this XD the only other suggestion I could think of is to use paper clay and mold it by hand then paint it with glow in the dark paint, but that sounds time consuming and frankly... I lack in the sculpting department =D
