Irayo so much for you comment. It means a lot to us. It all boils down to the fact that everyone brought to the film project what they bring to these forums. It turned out far better than I ever could have imagined and I've made some great new friends in the process. And all because of a film called Avatar! Quote:
Irayo. I'm glad we did a making of so if anyone else wants to do a similar thing at least they can see how we did it and what is involved. It's also a really nice record of what people's thoughts are on the project, why they got involved and what they hope the outcome will be. As for your DVD, I'm still finishing of the burning of them. I hope to have this afternoon off to hopefully finished them of and get them in the post tomorrow. Sorry for the long wait for them. It has been a bigger job than I expected, plus work gets in the way.  However, in the mean time, you'll hopefully have seen my PM to the film crew saying that the app for the iPhone/iPod/iPad is now available for download from the iTunes App Store. Below is a message from Unil Makto, the guy from AF who has authored the iPhone/iPod app for our Avatar Communities Film Project. We really need to give Unil a pat on the back for all his hard work on this. It really has been the icing on the cake for our project: ___________________________________ "Kaltxi guys, as you may or may not know the app for our film project has been released (4 days now!), just thought I'd drop a post to officially cut the ribbon and to answer any questions you may have (was on a work trip so I wasn't able to post this earlier). But before I do so I would once again like to thank you all for the time and effort you've put in to this project and to Alan for coming up with his "wacky idea" in the first place! Was a pleasure working with you all and I hope we get a chance to do it again!  So FAQ section: Where can I find the app? The app is available across all iTunes stores, you need a valid account to download it. Simply search for: OurOnlyHome, or use the direct link: OurOnlyHome for iPhone and iPod touch on the iTunes App Store How much does the app cost? 100 billion dollars!!!!  No? OK, just kidding the app is FREE of course. What do I need to run the app? A device running iOS 4.0.1 or above, i.e. your iPhone or iPod touch. What about iOS 3.2.x? (the iPad).  I have a sneaky suspicion that something is coming up very shortly.How many people are using it at the moment? Just got the updated download metrics: 4 days - 198 users (+1 Alan is downloading it at the moment :nsmile) 120 users from the US 20 users from the UK 23 users from Australia 12 from Japan 3 from Thailand 21 from across Europe (predominately France & Germany). I would be surprised if we get a reply and they must have a shed load of fan mail. But we hope they take it as a huge compliment that their film has inspired us to do something ourselves.  that dr evil part had me rolling around laughing Alan! I am so excited at how far this project has come from when it was started! I just downloaded the app the other day! Cant wait to get my DVD

Just saw that, I'm really-really impressed about what you guys really did. It was stunning to watch that, it's between the first awesome and interactive initiatives I've ever seen. Congrats, and I hope we and you will change the hearts of 7 billion people through that, it should be done something about the situation of the environment, eventhough Eywa made her future plan for us...
