Default Minecraft!

Minecraft. A game I discovered very recently through watching a very cool commentator on Youtube, called Seananners. Now, at first glance, you might think:
"Wow, this game looks TERRIBLE graphically."
"My N64 renders better graphics!"
(Oh, and yeah. Everything is a square)
Try it, the game isn't free, but you can always....get it some other way.... (yarr yarr)

The basic premise of the game is to built WHATEVER you want, WHEREVER you want. You start off with nothing, and the game randomly generates an entire world. Completely random resources etc. You create some basic things, build yourself a shelter.

"Why build a shelter Xavier? Thats boring!"

Because, when it gets dark, You can see fudge all. Very nasty things come out the ground, and kill you. When I say kill you, I mean some of them walk towards you and explode, some shoot arrows, some leap at you. All of this happening when you can't see your own hand in front of your face.

The game is a very detailed game, if you guys can get past the graphics, which I think are pretty damn cool, you can be pulled into this game for hours. I spent about 3 hours making an "Evil Lair" inside a mountain.

For the most basic things, and how the game looks and starts out, watch this video:

You kidding me?

Minecraft has some of the VERY BEST graphics I have ever seen in a computer game. The graphical design and art style is AMAZING!

Oh and also,

Minecraft is epic. EPIC.

This game is EXTREMELY addictive! Everyone who's reading this.. Ignore your first impressions if they are bad and just try the free version of this, it's awesome!

I thought it looked stupid at first, and then I downloaded it.. And I wasted nearly 4 hours of my life! (No joke!)

EDIT: Btw.. If you like the free version then get the Alpha version... Even better.

Yeah.. The free version just lets you build anything without ever running out of blocks, also there's no enemys and you can't hurt yourself, it's basically just like a sandbox mode...

I prefer alpha though

I'm gonna buy it soon though, I want to support the guy who is creating it, because he's not part of some huge corporate entitity that doesn't need my money.

Yeah, I'd describe it as "Dwarf Fortress 3D"

Not quite, but still, it has its similarities.

Ok, Marley has coined the phrase that Minecraft is a virus. I've been spreading it through my Skype contacts like wildfire.
If you want the Alpha, PM me.
