I had this thought while watching the SE for a second time yesturday....
the special edition with all the new footage was epic, amazing, and beautiful! but there's one thing i would change. That is, i would change when the Tsu'tey death scene takes place. I actually think it would flow better right before the Neytiri and quaritch final battle. By having the tsu'tey death scene after the quaritch battle and Neytiri/Jake "i see you" scene killed the emotion and sense of completion those scenes had built up. I feel that if Cameron were to have placed the tsu'tey death scene before those two scenes, the whole war battle sequence would have ended on a strong emotional and more complete note. >>Now to actually make the tsu'tey death scene fit before the quaritch and "i see you" scene. it could have been that neytiri was riding the thanator around and finds the other na'vi gathered around tsu'tey, she calls jake on her commlink and jake joins them around tsu'tey. then they do the death scene as it played out in the special edition. Then neytiri, mad with rage and anger over tsu'tey's death, gets back on her thanator and runs off to chase down quaritch, and that would lead right into the final quaritch battle and "i see you" scene. did that make sense? idk, i feel that would have made more sense and flowed better. wish jim cameron could read this lol, even though i know there's he can really do about it. oel ngati kameie Last edited by Nulkrr'zo; 09-01-2010 at 01:31 AM. |
