Eminem is by far the best rapper out there, no auto tune (eliminates half the rappers) and he actually raps about experiences and hardships, sometimes even disses himself. That shows class and skill.
Top 3 rappers 1. Shady 2. Busta Rhymes 3. Probably Tupac or lil wayne(I dont really know though)

i guess it depends on what sort of mood you're after. you want club songs? listen to hip hop of today. you want lyrical master pieces? listen to 2pac or B.I.G. or Nas or Mos def or something. you want music to drive to? any 90's westcoast rap song should do. you want funny songs? listen to Eminem's first 4 albums or listen to the mixtapes between rival rappers, shiit is hilarious. the thing is hip hop has changed alot and will continue to do so. different people grew up in different eras, but regardless of this you can still go back to discover older songs. you may come to like it better than the current stuff.
so for example, i grew up listening to 90s-mid 2000s hip hop and thats about it for me, although if there is a song from today which i like, then why not added it to my list just compare the 2:after a while this will annoy me, not only because the beat sounds to computerized and weak but also because the lyrical content is something which i find pretty lame. whereas this is awesome to me. lyrics are are ridiculous, flow well and delivered hard, none of that auto tuning. as a whole the song sounds raw and makes me laugh, especially Bizarre's verse (fat guy) although obviously he isn't serious about what he's sayingoh and how could i forget this one. this was my favourite song from Marshall Mathers LP for a while after first hearing it until i eventually came to love the whole album. you never get songs like this these days in rap.

[QUOTE=Layzie;139635]There's nothing wrong with liking Chris Brown, but he's not really a rapper though, he sings. It's cool if he's your favorite though.
![]() that's right, he is more likely singing now |
