Hi everyone ~ the clock is ticking away for our trip to Seattle and I would like to see us make a decision about our forum t-shirts. I will be happy to do whatever is necessary to make it happen. Your ideas, please.

Tik tok! It really is already April. Time flies...

Okay, so I can pretty much print on any fabric. I have tons of spare black shirts (sizes ranging from adult small to 5xl). If you want something custom (like a white one that you want to tie-dye yourself), shoot me an email first ( navi@learnnavi.org ) so I can let you know if it's possible.

I'm holding off on custom username shirts until I figure out the best way to do it, and not charge unrealistic prices. We're all broke, after all!

Prices!
- Plain Tree of Souls shirt is $15.99. XL sizes and larger are $16.99
- Domestic (USA) shipping is about $4
- International shipping averages at $11. If you're buying multiple shirts, I'll just pay for the extra amount.

How does all this sound? I can start making them tonight and probably finish a batch of shirts by this weekend. Granted, there's enough interest

Hi Payoang ~wow, thank you for your speedy response. I do have one question, please. I realize that doing individual user names would be labor-intensive and, therefore, costly ... what would be the possibility (and cost) of having a Seattle specific shirt for those of us who are going that says something like EMP/SFM 06/04/11?

I, personally, am willing to pay for a shirrt with my user name and the Seattle specific whatever. I plan on ordering two shirts.

Like the idea of a Seattle meet up T-Shirt that would be cool! How about the slogan:

Avatar Fan Clan
Meet Up
Seattle 2011

Just throwing a thought in there... might also do for those going from other forums, maybe?

I'll order a bunch of T-shirts myself, although none related to the Seattle meetup for obvious reasons (I won't attend there)

I will most likely order one user-specific shirt, and 2-4 blank ones (haven't quite made up my mind yet).

Aketuan ~ The lastest issue of the newsletter is awesome! Thank you so much for the time you spend publishing that for us.

Alan ~ Thank you so much for all of the time and work you have put into suggesting exciting itineraries for us.

I have been to the EMP/SFM, Space Needle, Pike Place, Aquarium, Pacific Science Center and the Shore Line ... they are ALL wonderful and unique adventures and I can't wait to see them again.

T-shirts ... IMHO, I don't think we should get too wordy if we have a Seattle specific shirt ... that would clutter it up. I would love to have one specifically from opening day of the exhibit, which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Sounds like a plan.

At least, for the plain shirts with just the logo. As I said, we should wait until we know everything about the custom shirts concerning price-comparison between Payoang and a company.

Well, I've sent a PM to Payoang on LN...so we should have our answers soon. However there are some things we know now.

The prices would be very similar...however would you rather support an online company or a fellow Avatarian??

And the online companies could not ship to multiple addresses and would take much longer to get it done.

So we have two designs:

1. Classic ToS logo and Navi handprint

2. Same as #1 but with added Seattle phrase on it (slightly more expensive likely)

Hmmmm ~ that still isn't opening day specific. Seattle 06/04/11?

Of course, of course, of course, it is ALWAYS better to support one of our own whenever possible and Payoang does very excellent shirts. I am anxious to see what his final cost to us will be.

Aketuan (AKA Guru, Table Tennis Legend), to recap what you have found from the online place (please correct me if I have wrong information):

$15.00 for shirt with handprint and logo (plus $5.10 shipping)
$20.00 for shirt with handprint, logo and user name (plus $5.10 shipping)
$30.00 for shirt with handprint, logo, user name, all colors and fonts customized, includes shipping cost to individuals

Ohhh, no, no, noooo!! To me 06/04/11 is like the 6th April 2011 . I regularly get confooosed. (Ok you can moan about the Brit Hehehehe...)

I know! How about:

Avatar Meet-Up
Seattle June 4th 2011.

Or just

Seattle June 4th 2011

Yeah!

...I don't mind really, though. Happy to go with the majority. I'll know what it means and that's all that matters to me.
