Avatar Meet-Up
Seattle June 4th 2011.

Or just

Seattle June 4th 2011

Yeah!

...I don't mind really, though. Happy to go with the majority. I'll know what it means and that's all that matters to me.
Alan ~ you ALWAYS make me smile! Yes, Brits are indeed a little crazy!

I like the "Seattle June 4th, 2011" ... it is classy, simple and significant to all of us who are/were there. But, I also agree that whatever the majority wants is totally cool with me.

Or we could just have "Seattle Avatar Meetup 2011".

(This would also make it easier to keep the same shirt for the July meet-up. Just another option, of course)

Sure. That works too. It is simple and keeps it useful for both...

So now that we have all of the details does everyone want to give Payoang the "green light" and let him start to make the shirts??

Just for clarification there would be two designs:
1. ToS Logo and Navi handprint
2. ToS Logo, Navi handprint and "Seattle Avatar Meetup 2011"

Prices would be around $15 and $5 shipping... srak?

I would like to put my 2-cents worth in one more time. The group that is going to be there on the worldwide opening day of the Avatar exhibit has made an effort to be there on that historical day ... I think they deserve something special.

What is the difference in price between the two designs? What does srak mean? Where will the "Seattle" verbage be placed? I know, lots of questions. Thanks!

What does that last part mean, "all colors and fonts customized?"

Ok, sure, I suppose we should have something with the date in it. Maybe:

Seattle Avatar Meetup
June 4th 2011

And it was going to be placed on the front, but it might be better on the back...

Not sure about the difference in price...probably 3-5$

srak as I understand it is like the equivalent of "right?" or "yes or no?" in English.

Thanks for being patient with me Aketuan ~ I am just trying to make sure that we know exactly what we are going to get and what it will cost. I really like the last Seattle verbage that you came up with.

I would like for us to go through Payoang because he is one of us and has contributed so much to Avatar fandom ... and he produces a quality shirt ... but he hasn't yet given us the actual cost and what that price will include, and if we can have options.

The one thing I really liked about customink is that we get everything for $30.00 ... ToS logo, handprint, username, and postage. Not sure if they would add our "Seattle" verbage in there for that price; but since they are willing to customize everything for $30.00, they might possibly include that also.

I still like the option of having our username on the shirt ... especially for meetups ... that would be so cool!

Prices and options:

I'm holding off on custom username shirts until I figure out the best way to do it, and not charge unrealistic prices. We're all broke, after all!

Prices!
- Plain Tree of Souls shirt is $15.99. XL sizes and larger are $16.99
- Domestic (USA) shipping is about $4
- International shipping averages at $11. If you're buying multiple shirts, I'll just pay for the extra amount.

How does all this sound? I can start making them tonight and probably finish a batch of shirts by this weekend. Granted, there's enough interest

CUSTOMINK

Thank you for visiting CustomInk!

To answer your questions:

1)We can use your font for the personalized names, however we would not be able to outline them so you would have to decide which color you'd like them to print in

2)We would need the bulk order, especially since there's personalization to ship to one location. We cannot ship half of an order to Canada and half to the US as there begins to be several problems and wait times due to customs.

3) Turn time with free shipping is 14 days

Gildan Ultra Cotton T - Black
Screen Printing: 1 Color Front, 2 Color Back
Quantity: 20 (20 S-XL)
All-Inclusive Price:
$15.45 each | $309.00 total
------------------------------------------------------------
Gildan Ultra Cotton T - Black
Screen Printing: 1 Color Front, 2 Color Back
Quantity: 30 (30 S-XL)
All-Inclusive Price:
$13.24 each | $397.20 total

Names add $4.50 to each shirt

Please let me know what else I can do to help.

If we need more info from either, I'll ask.

Kaltxi folks,

Are we there yet? Make mine a double: one ToS and one Seattle special, please!

Hey, Loverofnature. Pass me your button...Irayo!

*Hits button...KA--BOOOMMMM.....*

*cough, cough...*

No, the other button...*cough*.. the one for the ToS shirts...irayo..(skxawng...)

*with arm out stretched, gently presses button...."squeak"...*

Phew!

Hey, I was in Derby today getting some trousers...ooops..pants, that turn into shorts and some other stuff for Seattle and I was proudly wearing my Avatar T-Shirt I got from TVStore (the one with the two eyes and 'Avatar' on it) and I got quite a number of looks at it and one kid mentioned it to his mates about it being a 3D film... oooOOoo... Still flying the flag!!

Itz me again

t appears that Payoang will do a ToS forum shirt (handprint and ToS logo) for us at a cost of $19.99 for size L and smaller ($21.99 for XL+), which includes postage.

Customink will produce a handprint/ToS logo shirt for us at a cost of $15.45 (for a quantity of 20) and I can mail them out for $5.10 postage (total of $20.55). Or if we order 30 shirts, the cost would be $13.25 each plus the $5.10 postage (total of $18.35). Customink offers the option of printing our name on the shirt for an additional $4.50.

I really do like the option of having a username printed on it. Aketuan, the only other question I have is, if we wanted our username plus the Seattle verbage printed on the shirt, what would Customink charge for that? Sorry to always have so many questions.

Okay okay, so since this is becoming a bit of a competition, I'd like to confirm/correct a few things.

Also, apparently [table]s don't work here, so I made an image.

That said, I'm all up for CustomInk since they can do usernames (and I can't). Ghaziya, if you want to be the one to deal with international shipping and customs declaration forms, be my guest!

Just let me know.

Dear Payoang ~ please, please don't ever think that this was meant to be a competition. I have a tendency to be a bit OC about some things and I just wanted to make sure that everyone knew what their choices are. I sincerely apologize if I have, in any way, offended you.

Alan and Aketuan have come up with the great idea that the opening day Seattle meetup group can go through CustomInk in order to get usernames and the Seattle verbage on their shirts ... and are sincerely hoping that you are willng to be the official person to produce all of our forum shirts for general distribution that have the handprint on the front and the logo on the back. I'm sure they will be talking with you soon and hoping that you will be in agreement.

Again, Payoang, I am so sorry if I have stepped out of bounds.
