New found exoplanet around Gliese 581 - Earth sized and in the habitable zone

Right on the heels of the prediction of the second earth discovery by next May, a new exoplanet now leads the race as the most Earth like ever discovered.

It has been named Gliese 581 g, in the well known system Gliese 581. It has just now has been detected using the wobble method due to its super small, Earth-like size. Also, it is right smack in the middle of the system's habitable zone.

However, it is believed to be tidally locked which means it probably has a chaotic climate system.
