by my conversions... how much I'd be paying for the limited collectors edition is a weeks paycheck... I would sacrifice a week of working for the movie that changed my life

Hmm... So basically, the difference between the limited edition and the collector's edition is:

the limited edition box,

the film cell with Cameron's signature,

and the "Making of Avatar" hardcover book.

...I'm not that sad anymore that I can't get it.

And the fact that there are only 1000 available.

And in four years.

There will be even less.

This is called a winning investment.

Its an investment if you intend to leave it packaged and sell it in a few years.

Otherwise, its just an expensive treat.
