Most Favourite Villains :)

Since no one as i belive had that idea before.. here is my share of something

Topic says everything, just post your favourite Villain from every film, book, game or whatever you want some words why you like him too

I for my example like John Irenicus from Baldurs Gate 2 and Scorpius from Farscape best. Both have always a new plan if something is going wrong with their overall agendas

Powerful, Dark, and Very mighty and Fearful. Arrogant but they know they have all right to be like that.

And in Scorpys case... He wins for real

This is the sort of thread I like.

I think my favourite villan of all time is Darken Rahl for the TV series of Legend of the Seeker (I have not read the books). He just manages to be totally cruel and evil while at the same time being suave, cool and well spoken.

Also, Denna from LotS was also a great villain, although she doesn't appear much, She is so alluring while being so cruel.

I also liked many of the villains from Buffy. The Major from Seasn 3 was a great villain, with a fantastic dark sense of humour.

I also liked the vain, self-obsessed and almost indistructible Glory from Season 5.

Also, the vampire villain Sunday was also a great character. Pity she only lasted one episode.

I also like the female vampires Darla and Drusilla who both had very interstting histories and characters while being attractive and appealing. I just love the way Darla speaks.

But onbe of the best villains in Buffy was Vamp Willow, who interestingly enough is dresses similar to the Mord Sith in LotS. She looks so great in her red leather costume and has such an outrageously evil personality while being a complete kick-a$$ villainess.

Anyway, that is enough from me for now.

As a villian his complete arrogance, bravado and huge ego gave me a laugh a minute while I was watching all ten seasons of Stargate: SG-1 earlier this year. Also his cleverness and South African accent added to the overall character.

Haha.. Yeah, the good old enemies from Stargate I like too the Shadow from Babylon 5

And legend of the Seeker.. have only seen few episodes on a german tv station.. but i plan at some point to buy dvd box sets

Yeah, I like Sovereign and indeed Saren.

I also agree with you Ba'al suggestion before. Another suave charming intelligent and indeed humousous villan.

It wouldn't surprise me if my favourite Darken Rahl was based on that model.

I also have to say that I like Darth Vader, He is a truly iconic villain.

And on a slighlty different level, i loved Stiffler from American Pie the wedding. I found him to be completely selfish vulgar and opportunistic evils genius and he didn't even kill anyone. Now that is impressive.

Vile.

One of the main villians from the Megaman X series. Vile's name in the Japanese version is "Vava". This was changed largely because that name translated into english would be "Baba". Change one vowel around, and what do you get? Boba.

Yes, the person who created Vile/Vava intended him to look like Boba Fett. Megaman X1 had other references to Star Wars too; the first form of the final boss tears off his cape to reveal a green lightsaber-esque energy blade for an arm.

Vile is a sadistic combat android with a hatred for humans and an appetite for destruction.

I'll post some more retro badasses in here when I get a chance.
