I never said that we should not make any concessions at all. What I did say is that we don't have to go that far out of our way when it comes to assimilation.
The point is that we can work to convince others to our set of ideas if done in a respectful manner. You somehow think I am out here to exterminate opposing ideas. We should question and entertain ideas; however, I have every right to try to convince you to my side in a calm and respectful manner. There may be multiple truths and multiple absoulute frames of reference; however, not everything a person says must be taken as a truth that cannot be infringed upon. Things based off of faulty premises are hardly worth consideration.
