I vote Dec 18, it's closer to now, and when I plan on watching the Collector's Edition for the first time.
 Hmm... on Christmas there are presents, on Halloween there is candy, on Thanksgiving there is food, on Avatar day there is... Neytiri?

We should probably do like the early Christians did: they put Christmas on an existing Roman holiday rather than the actual birthdate. In their case it was to avoid persecution. In our case we can point to all the people celebrating and say: 'Look at all these Avatar fans!'
I vote for Thanksgiving.

If you want to do that (I'd prefer release day or the bluray 'Avatar day'), at least choose a holiday which isn't only celebrated by Americans

Sorry to be the Skxawng, but what would we exactly do on this 'ere 'oliday?
By the way 18th Decmeber sounds best. We need something to mark 1 year since the film that has inspired us so, was released. I wonder what James Cameron will be doing on 18th December? Maybe we should make him the biggest Avatar Fan card in the world!!!! Not sure how you would do that though...
