I was able to sit through Avatar three or four times before actually shedding a tear. I got all teary-eyed on first viewing though, and more so on my second and third.

I've cried to Simon Birch, Princess Mononoke and The fountain. Sadly I'm not very good at crying so until half year ago I hadn't cried (except for physical pain) since 2005. With other words... those movies touched me deeply.

Well Avatar is the only movie that have ever brought me to the point where I've actually started sheeding tears Most of those were happy tears (End Shuttle Scene) And ofc Tsu'Tey scene...

Besides Avatar... I do have a faint memory that I teared up a little at the end of Matrix Revolution (3rd).

Okay... Avatar isn't The Only Movie The Lion King! When Simbas father dies... I just can't hold it

Nothing more from my feeble memory ^.^

I cried even on the first time... It wasn't the MOST (probably the least of any, and I did think to myself 'what are you doing?'), but I still did. Of course, the feelings didn't set in for a couple of days, then I went to see it again, and cried LOTS that time.

Avatar is the first and only to really get to me.

These choked me up but didn't necessarily make me cry:

I like to think crying is a connection to the soul when it occurs while watching a movie.
-Braveheart
-Avatar***
-Gladiator**
-The Last Samurai
-Toy Story 3* ............... Chuckles!
-Stargate SG-1 (some episodes, like 'Divide and Conquor')
-Pink Floyd's The Wall
-Up
-The Shawshank Redemption
-How to train your dragon (same feeling from my moment with the ikrans.., I wouldn't trade it for anything)

Many of these you guys labeled, I put them on here. I have some off the list but I can't remember right now...

Uhm, let's see.

WALL-E: Nearly always.

Gladiator: Sometimes.

Dragonheart: Always.

The Pursuit of Hapiness: Kinda.

The Lion King: Sometimes, but haven't watched it for a while.

Avatar didn't make me cry. It is my favorite movie and touched me on a deep level, but it didn't really effect me in the type of way that would make me cry.

Movies don't really make me cry so there aren't much. Dances With Wolves gets me at the end. If you've never seen the movie and watch this, then you might not get it, but if you have seen the movie I hope you understand. When Wind In His Hair is on the mountain saying all that stuff it really gets me teary eyed. It's just the fact that when he meet for the first time he says almost the same exact thing. He says his name, then "can't you see that ..." But the only difference is that rather than wanting to kill him and saying he is not afraid of him, he is telling him that he is his friend... Just how emotional it is when he says it really makes it sad (to me).

It's from :17 - 1:22 is what I am talking about. For some reason the English translation doesn't show up in the video so the translation is there in the form of Annotations.

And also the first Land Before Time movie used to make me cry.
