German unemployment -- 7.2%

French unemployment -- 10%

US unemployment -- 9%

Pkay, US has 3% more unemployment than German, 1% less than france, and a GDP larger than France and Germany combined. Successful economy is successful.

Next argument please.

Like I said, I put humanitarianism over power. I don't care how big the GDP is as long as the populace is fed and healthy.

Which is why the corporate-state would never let me get elected.

Then France must be a hellhole, because it has more unemployed than the US. Hooray.

But not Germany.

And at least the French take care of their unemployed (which it can do, because it hasn't war'd it's way into trillions of dollars of debt at the hands of the military-industrial complex).

Firstly, I'll say that's PETA (the same hypocritical organisation who kill thousands of animals and their leader uses animal experimentation-developed insulin while claiming any use of animals is 100% wrong), so probably hugely exaggerated. That said, I still don't like it, animals at least have the right to a full and happy life first

Why don't you go ask a French person yourself? Or better yet, why not tell them you're going to try and take their benefits away, and watch them riot in the street. I'm sure you saw it yourself on the news a few months ago. Trust me, they're well taken care of.

Or you could just watch SiCKO. Whatever makes you feel better.

The awful part is that it's financially successful. Is this the model of our future?

I'll take that as a no.

And yes, I know China isn't true communist anymore. Like every other communist nation in history, they gravitated away rapidly from the ideal state to something even worse.

What exactly do you want?

Here.
Here.

That's some footage of people protesting austerity.

What exactly do you want me to show you to prove that the French people are happy with their system? What source will live up to your standards? How about this? This is CBS, is that good enough for you?!

How 'bout some Bill Maher?

Honestly, must you be so damn picky?

I'm not picky, but you linked absolutely nothing earlier.

"Ask some French people"

That is not evidence. You've learned something tonight "Link or it didn't happen". Remember that next time please.

Whatever.

I'll be in France in March anyway. Do you want me to ask one for you?

I'm not going to watch the video, I just... can't. I'm sure I know what's in it. All it will do is set off an incredible rage that I can do nothing about. A lot of cultures do appalling things to animals, but China is certainly way up there at the top. Wow do I hate people sometimes (OK, a lot of the time).
