I've been watching for almost 2 hours. It looks like the shadow is covering more than 60% of the moon now. Currently 2:17 am here in Ontario, Canada.

![]() I'm glad that I got to see it with my own eyes. The eclipse entered totality at around 2:40-2:45 am here. It was really amazing. The sky is very clear here right now, which made seeing the eclipse extremely easy. I watched it from my back deck laying down on a bench. It's about -11 Celsius here, so I was wearing a really warm coat, 4 shirts, 2 pairs of pajama pants under my jeans, 2 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of gloves, a balaclava, warm hat, and the hood from my coat. ![]() ![]() I was outside for almost 3 hours.

The eclipse began at around 6:30am here but the real show began at around 7:30am, as the last sliver of light from the Moon left and then dominated by the Earth's shadow. I'm so glad I didn't miss this!
![]() BTW, what color was your moon, out of curiosity? |

One of those events where I'm interested for about 5 to 10 seconds, then promptly bored. Saw it a few hours ago through the stage where it started moving away. Not much. The color here was brown, though.

The moon was reddish-orange with a hint brown almost, if that makes sense.

Yeah that makes sense.
Okay I'll upload photos but don't expect expert photography - I had to hold my camera to my binoculars, while I was holding my binoculars! |

Well I tried to get some photos of the various stages of the eclipse but that didn't work out so well. Most turned out blurred because I couldn't hold the camera steady enough, but one did come out pretty ok
