Exclamation Harry Potter, what's the deuce?

So, I just saw Harry Potter. Some of you may think; "Well what's the hype?" I'll tell you.

It seems like Harry Potter has gotten into a bad reputation of some sort with some people around here. (and other I bet) I wonder why really. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is very much, as many know, the latest installment in the Harry Potter movie franchise. I think people gets too prejudiced against this movie just because of the (how I see it) gimmick to boycott Harry Potter.

Well I see many reasons why this movie should relieve you of whatever mistrust you have against it.

What I posted in the Random thread. (with a few twists and turns compared to the original)

We went to so Harry Potter. I just came back from it. And to those who oppose, I say Up Yours!

I didn't really felt as drawn to Tron as with HP, but hey, that's just me talking. And I'd be damned if regret it, absolutely not! Those who haven't seen it shouldn't misjudge it "just because it is HP". Rather silly IMO...

What I thought was so special, with this movie alongside with the others... when you like any random movie, you say you think it was good, or... maybe AMAZING, or EXCELLENT, or FANTASTIC, or just any word that may fit in to the category. I wouldn't describe this movie as just good, or even better for the fact, than just good! Or ANY of the above! And just because I say it may not be good, doesn't mean that I think it is bad in anyway. Completely the opposite! The movie is what I describe as; Just Precise. From my point of view, it is Just Precisely the way it should be handled out, no more, no less. The sheer contrast it has taken away from the other movies is beyond me. It is dark, grim, unsettling at times. Purely discomforting. Yet, they, in some way, insert these tiny short moments, of joy, love, friendship, which makes all the difference in the world! It entwine the movie!

As spill.com mentioned in their video review on youtube, it is much of an art film. Some may call the story's progression in the movie stiff or too slow... I thought it was beautiful! I bet there are movies out there doing the exact same thing, but for me, this is the first time I've seen a movie this raw. The friendship, the strong bond Ron, Hermione and Harry have, is shown in this movie like never before, in all it's power! I literally almost cried at some scenes. (Means a lot coming from me) *sigh* But... yet again, it is beyond me of really getting a solid grip of what I really feel.

It has been another very triggering experience for me. Somewhat the same effect Avatar had on me. It made think. While listening to selected orchestra pieces I felt fit my mood, together with Avatars score, I began to wonder. It is just a movie like this, like Avatar, that can trigger this mysterious weird feeling inside of me. I thought about my place, here in the universe. What it all meant to me, to everyone. And you'd have to really understand me, that this happens far to rarely. But the source that triggers it is much all the same, an experience (of some sort). And I realize now that I just, quite frankly, can't explain it with empty letters alone. My emotions won't come through enough with its help. I guess it is for me alone to keep with me.

And bear in mind, just because I chose Harry Potter over Tron, doesn't mean I have any negative to say about it. I don't. I have yet to see it. I just, simply... felt drawn at watching Harry Potter and his adventures more.

Just thought like sharing all of this. If you got anything to say, please, by all means, explain the big hype. Go see it if you doubt me, and it may prove you wrong. But, hey, I can't know for sure. You're not... me. :/

Final word to this, if you still ignorantly bash it without ever watching it...

Yep. Ain't got much more to say after that. If you feel hit though, by all means speak out your opinion. And don't underestimate what you have not seen.
