3D version sounds nice but I draw only in paintbrush in windows and this program do not suport that ...

You can try to create some leveled graphics from low to high (gradients) over what you already did with the map, to simulate geographic shapes in 2D. 3Ding it could be done with SketchUp importing the map image, scaling it, drawing some curved lines and then using the sandbox to push the levels up and down refferencing gradients .

I started to draw the Area 29, "Tárontxar", which keeps the Hell's Gate, Unobtainium mine and the Flux Vortex (that blue circle - I think). Here it is :



What's the "real" length of an edge from Hell's Gate pentagon ?

Good choice of region

Blue circles
The blue circle means the place, where are the Tree of Souls. I do not know, how much is this kind of tree expanded on Pandora. Maybe they are very expanded and every clan has his own Tree of Souls, or maybe the grow very rare and one of them serves not to only one clan. For the moment I decided the second option on my map. And about the Flux Vortex - if regions with these trees ara having more potent Flux Vortex, I dont know, although in the moovie it seems.

Activist Survivel Guide says this: every side is 1,89 kilometers long and all sides are enclosing total of 6,16 square kilometers

Keep drawing - looks pretty good Will you put there more objects when it will be finished? For example - the school of Grace, waterfall where in the movie (in the night) Neytiri leads Jake to the village for first time (I think it should be on river that is closer to Hells Gate) and other... One more thing - from the picture below seems like the Omatikaya Hometree is about 93 kilometers away from Hells Gate (the picture is from the moment, when Selfridge is searching the hometree on that holoprojector to show the unobtanium deposits)

Thanks Well, I don't know what to say about the details, but I will do my best to rebuild Grace's school, and probably the place of the Tree Of Souls. For a better and bigger look at the landscape object we could use and extraction method of some models from the PC Game if it isn't ilegal to do that . Objects like : Hell's Gate, the camp box, the big HomeTrees and mining sites. If not, in time, I will try to reproduce them, it's more easy than geographic shapes, we might need some help here ...

Grace's School I think is double in scale than a normal school, but it looks like a "human" one, with wooden construction elements like piles and beams, traditionally built roof, etc

Oh, 93 kilometers. The distance in my model is 9,3 kilometers so it's 10 times bigger. Very good find

Did the re-scale, and placed the thing on your original map. Will try also to shape the terrain, but I don't know how to do it correctly yet so the process might take a while due to the specs of my laptop PC too.

Yes seems like 93 kilometres - but this information slightly collides with my map where the distance is not drawn correctly. And one more thing - I am not sure, what distance is between Hells Gate and Unobtanium Mine. I found only this (behind the mine is Hells Gate I think)

From what we see in the movie, the Unobtainium mine holds the Hell's Gate very close behind. Like :



There some funnels and smoke up to the top of the picture, which is the Hell's Gate, doesn't seem so far away from the mine, maybe few kms



Recall the funnels and the smoke, same place, Hell's Gate !
If it was very far they were supposed to make another Hell's Gate and so with the underground resource from the HomeTree, another one. Jeez !

Now good find for you I didnt notice that in the movie can be seen the mine and behind the Hells Gate.

One corrections - distance of Omatikaya homtree from Hells Gate is not 93 kilometers, but just 51 - I looked it better:
