I love how James kept popping up and waving! And he also ratted myself and Tammy out to the camera. I don't even remember what we were talking about, but knowing us I'm sure it was something dirty.

Alan, this is so awesome! I can't wait to see the whole thing!!

Alan, my tsmukan, it is soooooo exciting to log on to the thread and see a new video "episode" of our Seattle adventure! I can't begin to imagine the time that it is taking you to produce this for us. I am going to have to get out my Thesaurus to find new words to tell you how completely awesome your film project is. Irayo!

LMAO Fiyer, I am sure you were right about that as I was trying to figure out what in the world we were talking about. But we know it was James who was the instigator on the dirty convo's. LOL We love ya James!

Alan, I am so impressed with your video and editing skills. They are coming along so beautifully! I am completely enjoying every second of them. OUTSTANDING!!!

Once things get worked out and some time has passed I'll get some sort of sign up going for the backpacking. The hike being part of the meetup wouldn't require anything special.

I'm so looking forward to next year!

(I might be backpacking this weekend ( oddly enough) so I'll be offline mostly. (unless I get Internet out there. ))
haha ^^^^ a suggestion: the night is still young, & the summer's still long... Maybe people who live more or less close can make a "mini meetup" to do "a trial hike"? depending on the circumstances of course but hey most of you are (ex)students that means vacations...

Like Alan & HNM I'm on the other side of the world so I would find bringing ALL the hiking/ camping stuff with me problematic... so "hiking as a part of the meetup" probably is best for me... (but hiring eqpt is a great idea! )

All said, there's still quite some time to plan it... which is a favourable factor!

Irayo my friends for you kind comments on the videos. I really appreciate them.

I'm about halfway through with adding the commentary now.

Hey, Apache, that sounds like a cunning plan to do a trial hike. I bet there will be takers for that if they are close by It might be that there are already designated routes that might help. Duno? Like you say, pleanty of time to investigate and plan. I suspect planning for next year will really start after our tsmuke clan, LearnNa'vi, have had their meet up on the 9th July.

Ooo, nearly forgot. Here is part 4:

Kiyevame,

Alan

Another great video Alan. It cut off just before the good part though.

I wish I was an ex-student. I still have two years till I get my degree in Computer Engineering...and I know of quite a few others that are still students. But like you said, the majority are ex-students.

Anyway, although the idea for a test hike is ok, I can't afford to fly to Seattle just for a hike. And Most people probably can't either. Also I'm in contact with people in Seattle that know the places to go and we have people in the group that are experienced hikers/backpackers. The plan is to have everything at the same time so that there is only one trip to Seattle.

For example:
Meetup starts Thursday.
Hike is scheduled for Friday.
Saturday and Sunday and Monday are more group stuff.
Tuesday backpacking trip starts/meetup ends.
Wednesday/Thursday people head home.

Something like that anyway...

And renting gear from REI is very easy and could easily be arranged for people who don't have gear/can't bring gear.

WOW! Another fantastic video ma Alan!! Txantsan! I got a real kick out of this one and I LMAO when MOM's went to meet Sarah across the way and someone yelled "MAKE THE BOND!" That was absolutely EPIC! Extremely fitting for sure! Such a fun day that was! Loved every second of it.

LMAO!! Ok, ok, guess we are guilty of a "few" bad convo's. I think we all love "blue butts." LOL@ burping burger and MissTAMBO.

I totally know what you mean ma James about missing everyone and just having such a avatastic time with each other. Totally miss you and everyone else and it still amazes me how well we all connected with one another. Definitely we all need to have a clan reunion next year in Seattle. Until then it's great that we can all stay in touch here at TOS, phone calls, emails, and text messaging.

That's right! I think we were talking about new nicknames for the site. You called me the burper and (walking right into it) I said 'the burger?' Then you dubbed me the Burping Burger. And somewhere in all of that Alan started filming.

I loved the 'MAKE THE BOND!' comment as well. I'm trying to figure out who said it, but I can't tell. I know I said it at one point, but I don't think my voice is quite that deep. I do know I was yelling "Tsaheylu!" though.

HAHA Thanks Emily! I coined that term ever since I started getting involved in all the different Avatar Forums a year ago and use it a lot still. Maybe I should put a patent on it but perhaps I should ask JC first. LOL Have an Avatastic Day ma tsmuke!
