Isard you blind.
You don't heard? There is LOOTING. Peaceful for you is thousands of looters that's burned and loot any house in their sight! There is no leadership to this demonstrations. Instead of Mubarak will be anarchy. In Sinai peninsula the Bedouin Take advantage of the situation and try to take over the peninsula(Or at least to loot and kill as they can) All Egypt burning. And you are celebrating like today is 4 in July... |

You didn't read the thread. It WAS peaceful, it TURNED ugly when the government escalated the demonstrations to riots.

At the begining the demonstrators was from the middle class. After several days the low class join the demonstrations. At the moment that's the low class join the demonstrations the looting started. canyons and stores who have 0 connection to the goverment looted and destroyed. Rapists and murderers escape from jails. The demonstrations are pointless. If Mubarak resigns will be anarchy and civil war(Today all the demonstraitors toghether against Mubarak but the next day it will be MUSLIMS VS CHRISTIANS VS SECULARS VS STUDENTS VS ISRAEL VS SUDAN VS SA VS WHO KNOW WHAT) |

![]() MY AUNT IN CAIRO RIGHT NOW We talked with her on the phone! (And yes the telephones are not blocked) With all this "Reddit" you probably don't see the last pictures(Or you just ignore) from Cairo museum or people with knives that's try to protect their home from "Peaceful demonstrators". You live in USA(OR UK) and you do not care if thousands or tens of thousands will die in a war. This is an normal "system" of the world. At the begining all of you talking about it excitedly but after a month or two you start forget what happen there. |

As I said on AF, the revolution is already a success. Even if it does not result in the immediate unseating of Mubarak, this slaughter of his own people will result in a scar on his global reputation that he will never recover from.
He might as well try and save what little face he has left, pack it in, and wave the white flag.

Was watching this on the news last night. I had some of my faith in humanity restored, neighbours were forming groups and standing outside all night to protect their homes and families from looters (in the absence of police). Also, the soldiers seem to be in support of the protests so even if they were ordered to fire on the people, there's no telling if they would.
The sooner this twit stands down the better, I've never admired the egyptian people so much If they're successful perhaps other countries will be inspired to act the same way.

I don't know man, it is a COUNTRY, maybe this fight higher than the ruler of Egypt... I'm not sure about this whole situation. It's too suspicious with respects to timing.

Yeah, Egypt is in revolt, there are looters, there is violence. It did not start out this way.
How are you not understanding this. Peaceful protest ---> Government response ---> Riots (complete with looters) ---> revolution (with more violence and looters) This is not difficult.
