They used the "colonel badass" trope too?

Yah but it'll probably be the flip side of it (from Avatar), meaning he might know what the **** he is actually doing.

Not gonna lie, for a split second I thought it was a prequel for Avatar.

I also thought it was Avatar related at first!

Same, but I'm sick and can barely keep my eyes open without them stinging.

Um, wow. Might be worth a watch, though.

Interesting... Did Mr Spielberg dust off the electrons from his Jarassic Park models then? Wow, what a similarity to Avatar. Like someone said, it looked like a prequel. Might be worth a watch if we get it over here in the UK.

Hang on, ok I just realized that this is taking place in the past. (I know I should have caught it earlier, but I kind of figured it was on another planet even though it said so in the trailer). Time travel is such a hard thing to work with because of the extraordinary amount of theories to how it affects the future. So what are they like trying to fix past humanity to make a better future or something?

There is no problem about changing the course of history - the course of history does not change because it all fits together like a jigsaw. All the important changes have happened before the things they were supposed to change and it al sorts itself out in the end.

Maybe they didn't time travel at all. Maybe this is a spinoff of our pre-era of the cavemen, before they came to be. Their survivors of the first apocalypse. First thing that came across my mind.

It's time travel. The trailer points that out explicitly.

And glowing round lighted door.
