So finally got to watch my Avatar SE blu-ray-disk the other night, and getting to that point, of just playing the movie was an adventure in itself. Bought a new blu-ray-player .. um yeah doesn't work with older TV's. So had to borrow my son's for the night to watch!
![]() This watching experience as ever was quite heightened, but there was something different and new that emerged in my thoughts well watching it. The reason that Avatar 'affects' me so strongly, is because it 'mirrors' so many parts of my life, and because of that I can't help but wonder why has my life had all those experiences, what have they been guiding me to? Before I used to reflect on 'how, finally a movie could end up so well matching up to my beliefs and values those parts of me that have been there my whole life!' This time my thoughts were 'how or why is it that my whole life seems to have been preparing me for Avatar?' Its a subtle difference, perhaps, but it really has me thinking ... i don't know, but does that makes sense to anyone else?

It was impossible not to have, It's impossible not to be, It's impossible not to still ...! ![]() What this world really needs is more artists and environmentalists! "Its only 'here' that we lose perspective, out at the Cosmic Consciousness Level things get a lot clearer. For example, there is an actual star pattern that is traced in the shape of a Willow Tree, across the breadth of the Milky Way! And no wonder Indigenous peoples refer to the 'here after' as the Happy Hunting Grounds! Has it ever occured to anyone why the bioluminescence dots, on the Na'vi!" |
