I live in the US, which doesn't put much emphasis on Table Tennis (not to be confused with "ping-pong"
), but I know in lots of other countries many people play it. I am ranked at about 1600 USATT, and my home club is the FCTTC in Colorado. Lets see... I use a butterfly Sriver G2 on forehand, Sriver EL on backhand with a butterfly firehand blade. I primarily prefer a defensive/high lob stategy but occasionally will attack with my backhand or loop with my forehand.Anyone else play the sport and what style of play do you prefer? ![]() Or anyone interested in starting to play? |

I literally have absolutely no idea what any of the plays or strategies are called, but I do know that my dad once won second place in a national competition, and he taught me everything I know about the sport... except of course, he never actually gave names to the plays or strategies. He just showed me an action, and I repeated.
![]() But yes, I'm quite competitive. |

Congratulations for your dad winning a tournament! There are all sorts of USATT tournaments out there with different levels of competition and ranking-based brackets...I have not yet won anything on that level, but maybe one day...
