Default If You Could Interview James Cameron, What Would You Ask?

Hello Everyone!
The title says it all. I have quite a few questions for him, so it makes me wonder what you all have on your mind. The questions don't have to be only about 'Avatar', 'Avatar 2', and/or 'Avatar 3' related things, but of course those are wanted.

Mr. Cameron: Where might one go--and when--if one wanted to become an RDA punk-extra who gets eaten by an ikran? Because my career aspirations are... well... that.

Joking aside, I think I would ask about progress on the sequel and book. Recently published interviews have already probed his philosophy and background quite a bit, after all. Unfortunately, a simple status update is probably not fodder enough for a whole interview, so... hmmm...

Pretty much what Eywa's Pet said.

And maybe ask if there would be later additions to the franchise? Maybe a miniseries or something pre-human arrival-after humans leave in written form? Perhaps from a Na'vi point of view? Like Neytiri

Some of these might have been answered already but.

What do you think of the impact Avatar has had on the world?
What would you say to some of the more dedicated fans who would like to have an Avatar experience of their own?
How would it effect you if a Pandora type world were to be discovered not to far away?
Has Avatar changed you in anyway?

Can I be in Avatar 2 and 3?

...
Was the effect of Avatar on the world as you predicted? Did you expect it to have the effect it did?

Also, why didn't you make it longer?

I would ask :

Mr.Cameron, if you would have a chance to restart your life in a wild environment along with the situations met on Pandora, the amazing world you created, would you really be up for it and never want to return to the "outside" life ?

Before asking this question I was and then I became and then I started to be but then I

"If you could come up with another name for unobantium, what would it be? And why did you use unobtanium in the first place?"

*only SLIGHTLY flippant here*

It's a technical term for a mineral with ideal properties for whatever application - since on being discovered they realised it was almost an ideal superconductor, they decided to make a slight joke out of it, and also possibly because such a mineral isn't exactly easy to get

I'm well aware of the term's history - but to me, it actually throws me out of the movie, and jars with the seriousness of the rest of it. 'Unobtanium' is a joke name, not a name for a mineral that has been mined for at least 25 years. To me, it's the name for something in a parody or a spoof.

Not a movie that has the destruction of Hometree.

I see your point, but I can actually absolutely imagine "unobtanium" becoming the technical name for the substance. Names have a tendency to stick once created, and a lot of scientific/technical names end up being based on whatever name the researchers tossed around the lab when they were studying it. But, of course, even with that justification, I can see how it would feel jarring. Personally, I loved it... it was like a little scientific inside joke. But YMMV.

You came back
How do you make up after you've done the unforgivable? Jake and Neytiri have a conversation in the wake of Hometree's destruction, during their first real moment alone following his return as Toruk Makto.

The Last Train Home
Fourteen years after the war, a lone spaceship appears in the sky. The former members of the Avatar program watch its approach – expecting the worst, fearing for their adopted home. Then the ship lands. And suddenly, nothing makes sense anymore.

Five seconds too late
This is a different kind of Jake/Neytiri romance, the story that would've unfolded had she been delayed for just five seconds while trying to reach him following the fight with Quaritch.

To produce the complete director's cut, including all the extra bits on the B-Ray disc.

I reckon I'd pay up to £40-£45 to see it on the big screen
