Default My JAKE tattoo, I finally got it!
Kaltxi! Well, I FINALLY got my Jake tattoo last night. I had to take the pictures myself and trying to do that with a back tattoo is really difficult to do. LOL I hope to have a friend take some better pictures for me later. I am soooo happy with the results! I love it.

Hi Prowler, irayo, the tattoo took almost 2 1/2 hours to do. I am very happy with the results. It's still sore and red but that is expected. I love it!

That looks good! It's kinda red, though. How long until it heals? Do you plan on getting it colored?

Congratulations, and welcome to the Avatar tattoo club

The swelling will go down in a day or two, make sure not to let it get dry, the very worst part is over, but in a week to two weeks it will itch as the skin heals, which gets very annoying. Cold water helps when it does though.

For how long tattoos take to heal, they are mostly healed after 4 weeks, with 6-8 to be fully healed where they feel like the surrounding skin.

Wow, that looks really great. I wouldn't mind getting the Na'vi inspired banshee tattoo(pg. 76 in the Art of Avatar book). If I ever get it(kinda doubtful as I'm not a tattoo person)it would probably be on my forearm.

I had that in mind too, eventhough I'm not a tattoo person either, but it would look awesome on the whole back

By the way, tattoo, misstamie ! Very accurate and very... red. But that will heal in few days, no worry.
