Families go far... I consider so many of the people who were deeply brought together by Avatar a family... when people need each other, they are there, and sharing the happiness as well

^^^true. For me "family" are people I feel good with, "in the same wave", it's more a soul link than a blood link... The way it's been so far I have "brothers, sisters, aunties, uncles etc. etc." from all the continents, all ages, colours etc. - it's a sort of "invisible tsaheylu" that works here.

Exactly
It's our network, something like a way to try and have a bit of what the Na'vi do.

network, yes, nice term...
You mentioned you had dreams with the scene Becoming One of the People - only that it was you instead of Jake well I wonder - ToS is probably this "family", "the people", in your Earth life! Could it be?

You know what, I had a "ToS Dream" two months before I discovered ToS... I'll probably post it on I Dreamed About Pandora thread. I'll think...

I haven't been able to watch it for the last month and a half or so, as there was always something I needed to do, it it was too late, or I was too tired or emotional, or the time just didn't feel right. I just got another chance to watch it again.
It was perfect.
Avatar is such a beautiful film, and it showed me how things could be, it gave me a completely new perspective on life. None of that has changes. It's as perfect as ever, as emotional as it was that first time I watched it, over a year ago. All that time ago, I was so different. I wasn't expecting any film to completely give me a perspective. I didn't have any real reason to do anything, I was just going through life without ever even realising the problem. Avatar is a single thing worth fighting for. It still is.
Every day, I think of Pandora, and I wish so much I was Na'vi... Every day I think of ToS, the one place on Earth I feel at home, around the people I care about. The place where people See, in the middle of all these skypeople. I was somehow born as the wrong person and I know that, whether or not Pandora is out there somewhere, it's where I belong, and I know that for so many people here, they are the same.
Never lose sight of that
Ahh Jacob, i missed this thread, from before .. but here's a song i found this morning .. that I think sums up that feeling for you and for all of us!

What this world really needs is more artists and environmentalists!

"Its only 'here' that we lose perspective, out at the Cosmic Consciousness Level things get a lot clearer. For example, there is an actual star pattern that is traced in the shape of a Willow Tree, across the breadth of the Milky Way! And no wonder Indigenous peoples refer to the 'here after' as the Happy Hunting Grounds! Has it ever occured to anyone why the bioluminescence dots, on the Na'vi!"

Definitely. Avatar makes me so sad, when I see Earth, and want to go home... but there are the people who have shared the experience, who I trust the most, and who understand.
